British Airways 787

British Airways has taken delivery of a brand new Boeing 787-900. It begins flying on October 25, 2015 with service between Heathrow and Dehli. The new edition of the 787 features a reconfigured first class section.

Here’s a video that summarizes the changes to the first class cabin…

Have you flown on a 787? If not, it’s well worth the effort to find a flight! Visit this list of 14 fun facts about the 787. Personally, my favorite feature would be the windows – which are up to 65% larger and allow for adjustable tinting.  Additionally, the interior climate of the cabin is far superior to older planes. It’s powered electronically rather than traditional jet bleed air – thus it’s comfortable from the minute you step on the plane. It’s also pressurized to 6,000 feet rather than 8,000 and has a bit higher level of humidity. This all provides a much more comfortable climate. Not a sexy topic, but it definitely makes things much more pleasant.
